Houston Undergoes Alcohol Renaissance

Celebrating its 38th season, Houston Texas is home to the Texas Renaissance Festival. Featuring costume shops and themed events, the wide selection of imported alcohols stole the show, including brews from France, Poland, Mexico, and Greece. The continuing festival has already proven to be a place to eat, drink and be merry.

You'll barely be through the front gate and there it will be: a seemingly endless row of taps.

Make your way through the entrance of the Texas Renaissance Festival - past the costume shop and the old lady playing hammer dulcimer - and head straight to those taps, my friend. For Ren Fest is a time for beer.

And not just any beer. Why drink a $5 Bud Light when you can sip on a $32 Golden Draak? This is a festival fit for a king, after all. And the king digs craft beer.
