Apocalypse November 10th marks the beginning of Houston's 2012 Cinema Arts festival where the city will feature nearly 50 different programs and panels brining a welcome influx of art and culture into the city. Featured among them is Hanly Banks, a Houston resident who looks forward to featuring among her idols.
The 2012 Houston Cinema Arts Festival is about to bring 50 film programs and panels to the Bayou City this weekend.
One of Houston’s own, Hanly Banks, will have her film featured during this action packed weekend.
Banks attended The Kinkaid School before leaving for film school at New York University. She was attracted to film because of a general love of creation and expression she’s had since childhood.
“I definitely loved creating things,” she said. “Neither of my parents are artists, but my dad filmed our entire childhood. I think that maybe rubbed off on me a little bit.” Read More on yourhoustonnews.com
