Austin Art Center Ending today, January 27th, the Austin Art Center presented a collection by raku artist Jerry Duschle. The Japanese-styled artist has been working with this style of pottery for nearly 20 years. Hopefully he'll be showing off his work again in Austin as raku-styled pottery is a wonder to behold.
Work by raku artist Jerry Deuschle is on display through Jan 27 at the Austin Art Center in Oak Park Mall, Austin. Deuschle has been working with raku firing methods for nearly 20 years. Raku is a pottery technique that originated in 16th-century Japan. Deuschle will talk about his raku works in a reception from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 27 at the art center. Normal gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Read More on postbulletin.com
