Perhaps it's something in the air or some magic in the water, but whatever the case, Seattle has rated second best in the nation for female entrepreneurs, according to a recent study. Researchers site the high gender ratio between females and males coupled with the very high education rate in the city as one of the key factors leading to the city's impressive ranking.
Seattle is the second-best city in the country for women entrepreneurs, according to a new report.
"Although women now make up a majority of those enrolled in college, women are still underrepresented in some fields, including business and entrepreneurship," Personal finance site NerdWallet noted in its report. "Although female entrepreneurs are less common than male entrepreneurs, there are plenty of innovative, inspiring women in the business industry."
