In an attempt to widen the brand’s options for luxury women’s shoes, Sebago, the premium nautical lifestyle company, has partnered with Parisian ready-to-wear designer Gaspard Yurkievich to create a limited edition collection for this summer. Exclusive only to a women’s line, the new collection includes four styles that could be considered a spin-off of the nautical brand’s most popular and classic boat shoe, the Docksides.

The new designs fuse influences from both sides—the look could be considered “Parisian style and culture goes nautical,” as the designs have aspects that are distinctive to both brands. Ranging in price from $175 to $200, these cute shoes feature tassels, superior stitching, and premium suede that make them high quality while also giving them a unique look.

The color palette and materials used in this collection makes the shoes both fun and versatile. Accent hues like fuchsia, pale yellow, and orange give them a flirty edge for summer. The “Juliette” is a close-toed suede sandal atop a nearly five inch wedge. The “Elise” is a similar style, but features a closed heel to give the shoe more of a loafer look. The “Audrey,” on the other hand, is a leather loafer with a five inch heel, and the “Cecilia” is the suede version of the same style.

Employing a playful summer palette full of pretty shades, these summer shoes are still appropriate for a graceful transition into autumn. While the shoes are colorful, the hues are not overly bright and bold, and the collection even includes models that come in chocolate, navy, and burnt orange. With all the styles including a closed-toe look, we could see these shoes making great accent pieces to a toned down autumn ensemble as well as a fun summer frock.
