Fashion men and women aren’t like everyone else—they cherish nothing more than a pair of designer shoes and the newest “it” bag; the very thought of getting doused with ice water would likely leaving them running for cover (under a Burberry check umbrella). But when charity calls even the harshest of fashion mavens (ahem, Anna Wintour) are willing to let themselves be drenched in a downpour of violently cold water. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which has been trending across the world, has raised over $109 million alone for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease), likely due to its growing popularity among celebrities. The rules are pretty simple: when a friend nominates you for the challenge you either donate $100 to ALS or dump a bucket of ice water on your head.
