You really don’t think of Facebook when it comes to fashion, but the geniuses behind the social-media giant and the vast array of apps that support it are taking a chance and diving straight in with a new app meant to let your more fashionable friends express their opinions on your ensembles in an easy, fun environment.

A new app is here to answer the age-old question: Do I look good in this?

StylePixi is a free social shopping tool that’s akin to having your best girlfriends on the go with you, giving instant feedback on your latest fashion choices.

It allows users to snap a photo of themselves in an outfit, or of a particular item, then ask friends, family and followers to rate it, like it, vote for it or simply comment.

“It’s Facebook for fashion,” says Nancy Chapman, co-founder of the StylePixi app, which was developed in Vancouver.
