It has been revealed that Jodie Foster will be celebrated in January at the 70th Golden Globes where she will be given the Cecil B. De Mille award for lifetime achievement. Foster began her career as a child and, with her intellegence and grace (she is a Yale alum), has managed to avoid the fate of many other child actors. In my opinion, Hollywood could use more role models like Foster.
Jodie Foster will receive the Cecil B. De Mille for lifetime achievement. She will be honored at the 70th Golden Globe Awards in January 2013.
