Food & Spirits: The UK Michelin Guide is due out on January 18 and the country’s top chefs are making predictions on who will make the cut for the elite dining guide. A survey of the country’s top 50 gastronomic geniuses revealed:

  • A dozen believe Pierre Koffmann will win a star for his restaurant in Knightsbridge
  • Eight votes for L’Anima to win a star
  • Eight say Marcus Wareing should get a third star
  • The Square, the Ledbury and Le Gavroche should earn another star
  • One respondent voted for Gordon Ramsay to lose a star
