Celebrities such as Susan Lucci, Drew Carey, Martina McBride and Darius Rucker attended the 36th Annual T.J. Martell Foundation New York Honors Gala on Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Manhattan.

The T.J. Martell Foundation is the largest charity organization in the music industry targeting finding a cure for leukemia, cancer and AIDS. Founded by music industry executive Tony Martell in honor of his son, T.J., who died of leukemia, the organization raises funds for research, treaments and cures for the three diseases. 

The gala honored several notable bigwigs in a variety of industries who have fought tirelessly for victims of cancer, leukemia and AIDS. This year's honorees included Coca-Cola's Bea Perez, Big Machine Records' Scott Borchetta, golf legend Arnold Palmer and comedian Drew Carey. Musicians Darius Rucker, Martina McBride, Javier Colon and Robbie Rosen entertained the crowd.

“I started the T.J. Martell Foundation as a promise to my son, T.J., that I would try to raise at least $1 million to fund research for leukemia, the disease that took him from us,” said Tony Martell. “Today, 36 years later, it's with great pride that I can tell you we have been able to fund over a quarter billion dollars in cancer research.”

Previous honorees have included Quincy Jones, Clive Davis and Stevie Wonder.
