Goodlife Clothing X Bamford Watch Department Team Up to Create Stunning GMT Model Watch

For the 2nd time Bamford Watch Department and Goodlife Clothing have collaborated to create a new stunning Bamford GMT model which Goodlife has customized.

The GMT has an automatic movement and a rotating interior bezel that can be set to a 2nd-time zone. The dial is a “printed denim” that goes directly back to Goodlife’s new denim snap shirts they are launching. Bamford took the actual fabric from the shorts to create the dials so the denim weave is the same on the dials as the shirts.

The GMT will come in two colorways. The first is Goodlife’s rinsed black denim dial in matte black case with brown and grey accents. Colors macchiato and espresso are the main colors from Goodlife’s holiday collection. The second colorway is from the washed indigo shirt option with a dark grey steel case trimmed with a classic navy and white.

Both watches come with Bamford’s Cordura straps with contrast stitching as well as a 2nd denim strap option using the same fabric as the shirts. Each watch will come with a co-branded hat commemorating the collab and serving as a gift during the holidays.

George Bamford, Founder of Bamford Watch Department said, “This solidifies a great relationship and friendship between Goodlife and Bamford London and I am so happy to work together. Goodlife did set us a challenge but it has been amazing to really encapsulate their denim on the dial of the watch.”

The watches are available online, at Goodlife’s 2 NYC stores (Greenwich Village and Hudson Yards) as well as London Jewelers locations in the Oculus in NYC and their Manhasset, NY Americana location.

“I have always loved the idea of mixing black and brown and also a fan of textured dials on watches. In discussing these initial ideas with George and his Team (while on COVID lockdowns last Spring), the concept of developing a unique dial came about as I explained we were also launching a denim snap shirt for Holiday, said Chris Molnar, Founder & Co-CEO, Goodlife Clothing.”

Molnar continues, “We sent Bamford pieces of the denim we were using on the shirts - a black rinsed denim and a washed indigo - and they essentially reproduced the exact denim weave onto the dial of the watches. From there we took the brown/black/gray tones of our Holiday assortment as well as a more classic navy / blue/white combo for a more classic option to create these two "denim dial" Bamford GMT's
