The inaugural Citi x The Supper Club Dining Series was just held in Los Angeles, as an 'Evening at Craig’s.' Set in a buzz-worthy venue in West Hollywood, Craig's was a spectacular setting for invited Celebrity Chef Nancy Silverton to prepare some of her signature dishes. The team at Craig's also prepared some of their popular fare too for this collaboration.

The extraordinary evening started with guests gathered in a private covered dining patio for exceptional cocktails, servers presenting tray-passed bite-size appetizers, vibey live music, a fun photo booth and personalized Citi Card wallets for guests to take home.

Favorite appetizers included decadent caviar bites in a crispy taco-style won-ton shell. There were also 'Pigs in a Blanket' and prosciutto wrapped bread sticks.

After an hour, guests were welcomed into Craig's cozy dining room with semi-circle black booths, white linen tablecloths and vibrant red roses to provide a pop of color for the lively 'Supper Club' ambiance.

When Silverton walked into the dining room to share her inspiration for the menu, the room went silent. Silverton is an award-winning baker, television personality, author and co-owner of Mozza Restaurant Group. She is one busy chef with nine Mozza locations worldwide, including her Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles, just down the street from Craig's.

Not only is Silverton a recipient of the Outstanding Pastry Chef Award from the James Beard Foundation, she also received the highest honor given by the James Beard Foundation for “Outstanding Chef.” She has been listed as one of the Most Innovative Women in Food & Drink by both Fortune and Food and Wine magazines and has been profiled in Netflix’s award-winning docuseries Chef’s Table.

Silverton's Mozza Caprese was a hit. It's a spin on a classic Italian Insalata Caprese. She combines ripe and fresh cherry tomatoes with greenery from the vine on top of soft burrata cheese, instead of mozzarella. She doesn't just add the traditional basil leaves, instead she makes a Pesto alla Genovese with herbs, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil to crown the burrata. The tomotoes on top are sweet and juicy enhancing the earthy flavors. It's one of Mozza's most ordered dishes.

Entrees included Craig's famous Chicken Parmesan and a succulent NY Wagyu Steak. Sides of sauteed broccolini and Parmesan truffle fries were delivered for guests to share around the table.

The Supper Club dinnier finished with Silverton's beloved Butterscotch Budino and warm chocolate chip cookies.

Before leaving guests roamed the dining room to admire Craig's array of sports and celebrity collectibles. Craig’s is named after longtime Los Angeles restaurateur Craig SusserHe worked at the famed LA institution Dan Tana’s, as a server, bartender, and maître d’/manager before opening Craig's in 2011. Locals and celebrities appreciate how Susser understands “the scene” in L.A., and they enjoy the warm hospitality, good food and elevated, yet comfortable setting.

Tamsin Lonsdale, Founder of The Supper Club said, 'This partnership with Citi marks an exciting new chapter for Citi x The Supper Club. With their support, we can bring out signature dining experiences to new audiences and cities, and curate exclusive events with extraordinary chefs at icone, buzz-worthy venues.'
