Not to be outdone by all of the reveals happening in Monterey this weekend, Mercedes-Benz has announced their all-new C300 Coupe yesterday and this is one car we seriously want. Looking like the stylish little—albeit long— sister of the larger C-Class sedan, the coupe seems to be everything we want in a two-door design: sporty and classy. 

Arriving to U.S. dealers in Spring 2016, the coupe is pretty similar to the sedan when it comes to what’s under the hood. With a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gas engine, the driver ends up with 241hp and 273 lb-ft of torque to play with when out on those open roads. 

But enough about the technicalities, just look how pretty it is. “A high beltline and frameless doors with free-standing exterior mirrors underscore the sporty character,” while the typical low dropping line found on coupes extends a bit “further past the real wheel arch.” With an extra 2.4 inches in length, the car’s significantly bigger than its predecessor despite having two fewer doors. The space is utilized inside, giving the coupe an interior just as spacious and comfortable as a sedan—meaning tall folks will find the shoulder and head room to be a lot more pleasing. 

Mercedes-Benz is including special upholstery color options, including a pretty appealing nut brown with turquoise top-stitching, and also offers a Sport Appearance Package that features “special bumpers and sills featuring AMG bodystyling, a diamond radiator grille with pins in chrome and 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels.” 

If you want to get a look at the new C300 Coupe, you will have to wait until the Frankfurt Auto Show next month when it makes its debut. Maybe we’ll even get treated to the price.
