Designed by famed architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the John Hancock Center rises 100 stories above downtown Chicago. The building is home to offices and many restaurants, but the main attraction is the open-air SkyWalk on the roof. With views of the city and four surrounding states, the John Hancock Observatory SkyWalk is truly an impressive experience.

In its building, it holds 172,000 square feet of retailer space with businesses such as Best Buy, The North Face, Hanig’s Footwear, The Cheesecake Factory and The Signature Room living within its corridors. Other attractions are the world’s highest indoor swimming pool and an ice skating rink in the spring.
