To re-awaken the iconic hotel, global design agency Yabu Pushelberg embarked on a total redesign of the Park Lane New York. Situated on Billionaires’ Row, just one block south of Central Park, the hotel has been renewed with modern, but whimsical charm providing an ode to New York’s past and present. The 47-story presents a unique and inclusive retreat featuring 610  rooms and suites - nearly half of which provide sweeping park-facing views - along with three bespoke culinary concepts by Scott Sartiano, a 1,000 indoor sq ft fitness center, and over 11,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor space.

Located on Central Park South between 5th and 6th Avenue, guests of the hotel are a stone's throw away Central Park’s 840 acres of four-season glory as well as within immediate walking distance to major attractions, cultural institutions, entertainment venues and more. (When booking your stay, the concierge can assist in planning an unforgettable trip to compliment your stay at the hotel). Home to the world’s most coveted addresses on Central Park South, the hotel’s rich color palette awakens the senses from its murals for the guest rooms and public spaces that artfully guide the hotel experience all the way to its Art Nouveau lettering and light, airy setting.

“While creating a more modernized Park Lane New York, Yabu Pushelberg mindfully set forth to restore the existing architectural details of this historic building,” said Prince A. Sanders, Park Lane New York’s Managing Director. “In doing so they commissioned New York City-based artists En Viu to create playful murals for the guest rooms and public spaces that artfully guide the hotel experience.”

Each of Park Lane New York’s 610 guest rooms and suites were designed to encapsulate the magic of the city from its exterior and interior. Each accommodation features oversized windows overlooking either Central Park, the NYC skyline, or both, while inside, custom murals - curated and created by En Viu – adorn the walls bringing the beauty of NYC into each room. A total of seven different room types are available each offering Bellino Fine Linens and strikingly-designed bathroom features amenities from Le Labo Hinoki, with the hotel’s crowning jewel being its  Belvedere Suite.

The two-bedroom castle-like penthouse is perched atop the hotel’s 45th floor, standing guard above Central Park in its entirety. Measuring at 1,750sf, the penthouse suite features beautiful landscape murals on its walls with luxurious, modern furniture, while the designer bathroom with black and white accents is something to marvel at.

Scott Sartiano partnered with Highgate, the premier hospitality management company running the property, to conceptualize three new food and beverage venues throughout the hotel. “‘Overlooking the park’ is an iconic NY tagline and something I have always wanted to be part of. The spaces in Park Lane really embody that, and offer a blend of attractions for both tourists and the locals living and working in the area,” said Sartiano.

From their 80-seat lobby bar with an outdoor promenade Rose Lane to Harry’s New York Bar , their intimate restaurant on the hotel’s second floor, and Central Park South’s only rooftop lounge Darling atop the hotel, guests are presented with a one-of-a-kind experience against the backdrop of Manhattan's sprawling skyline and park.

Rose Lane transforms from a quick coffee on the go spot throughout the day to an ideal cocktail destination for a nightcap. Featuring both made-to-order and grab-and-go selections, the menu features bright, fresh flavors with exquisite presentation like their grain bowls or Neapolitan pizza. Celebrate happy hour on their patio with floral, session-able, herbaceous cocktails or enjoy an expansive raw bar and caviar with an extensive list of organic and natural wines for dinner and late night. Each Thursday and Friday in December (with the exception of Christmas Eve) there is a scheduled DJ series, curated by Zero Bond, at Rose Lane and the hotel’s lobby.

Accented with rugged, natural materials and walls lined with classic vinyl and portraits of New York City icons, guests dine at Harry’s New York Bar while being serenaded by old school melodies played on a record player. The martini-forward menu with house-made tinctures and shrub also features an array of spirits including port cask aged-bourbon, coffee-infused blended Scotch and more. For breakfast, avocado toasts and lobster benedicts highlight the menu while dinner and late night menus feature artisanal dishes and a selection of chilled seafood available in decadent towers. For an unforgettable experience, patrons are invited to indulge in a premium caviar service with creme fraiche and house-made chips.

Perched atop the hotel’s 47th floor is the soon-to-open cocktail bar. Officially open to the public on December 1, 2021, Park Lane New York provides an ideal spot in the Big Apple to explore the wonders of the bustling city.
