Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall, located in midtown Manhattan, was opened through the philanthropic work of Andrew Carnegie in 1891, and continues to be one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world today. The hall aims to use its three stages to provide powerful music and extraordinary musicians to the largest possible audience.

The three halls inside are enormous, and the entire building is designed in the fashion of the Italian Renaissance. Carnegie Hall offers tours daily from October through late June. The performances change by the season, but the acoustics here are timeless.
