Pittsburgh Shopping Guide

Posted: Aug. 22nd, 2012  |  By Michael Pearse

Having removed itself from the past where it was primarily a mill city and having some of the most polluted air in the country, Pittsburgh is now a city thriving on natural beauty and leisure rather than hard manual labor and a massive focus on industrial production. With this shift toward the luxurious, there has also seen an influx in great shopping and anyone on vacation in Pittsburgh should check out these locations for some of the best stores there.

anchor textRoss Park Mall - One of the higher rated malls in Pittsburgh, Ross Park Mall offers everything you would expect from a shopping mall and a few locally owned stores that make visiting this location quite worth it if there is something you need while in the city.

Waterworks Mall -Although more along the lines of a strip mall than a full shopping mall, the popularity of the restaurant Burgatory has made this location take off; keep your eyes on this Pittsburgh hot spot for future development.

anchor textAntique Mall Ohio River - The best Pittsburgh antique shopping there is, the Antique Mall has a wonderful collection of furniture and clothing that makes it nearly impossible to leave without getting something for you.

anchor textThe Mall at Robinson - Like Ross Park Mall, The Mall at Robinson is one of those large retail shopping malls that you can easily spend the whole day shopping at. With great anchor stores and a large food court, this location is especially good to take children to.
