World famous musician, dancer, choreographer and now mother Shakira gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in Barcelona, Spain. The child’s father is football star Gerard Pique who coincidentally plays on Barcelona FC. The boys name was elected as Milann Piqué Mebarak and he was born on January 22^nd 2013.

"I'd like to ask you all to accompany me in your prayers on this very important day of my life," Shakira tweeted to her followers today.

Will we soon be getting a baby announcement from the star?

Yes! The baby has arrived. "We are happy to announce the birth of Milan Piqué Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué, born January 22nd at 9:36 pm, in Barcelona, Spain," according to a statement issued by Shakira's rep.

"The hospital confirmed that the couple's first child weighed approximately 6lbs. 6 ounces, and that both mother and child are in excellent health," it added.
