Charity run in Bangkok
Four Seasons Bangkok

The prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Bangkok will host a charity run to raise funds for cancer research. Last year there were approximately 3,000 runners and they raised close to 3.7 million. Hopefully this year more runners will come out meaning more funds will be raised. In the end its all for a noble cause.

For the past 19 years, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok has committed to hold a charity run to raise funds for cancer research in conjunction with our sister properties in Chiang Mai and Samui. Last year’s run with approximately 3,000 runners, raised successfully 3.7M Baht which was donated to the ‘Hematological Cancer Research Centre’ at Chulalongkorn Hospital under the auspices of The Thai Red Cross Society.

The organizing committee of ‘Cancer Care’ at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok is organizing the sixth ‘Cancer Care’ charity fun run, referred to as Terry Fox Run a few years ago, in Lumpini Park on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in association with the Thai Red Cross Society with the support of the Canadian Embassy as well as major sponsors such as B.Grimm, Ananda Development Public Co., Ltd., Boonrawd Brewery, and media partners such as Hello Magazine and Masala Magazine. Proceeds from the run will go towards the research projects currently conducted by the ‘Hematological Cancer Research Centre’ at Chulalongkorn Hospital.
