St Louis Chorus Turns Cinematic

As world famous movie director Quentin Tarantino said, “music and movies go hand in hand”. Which is certainly seems to be the truth as St. Louis Chamber Chorus has a special focus in mind for their upcoming performances. Their aim is two different movies.

Quentin Tarantino spoke the truth: “Music and movies go hand in hand.” Soundtracks play a larger part in our appreciation of what we see on screen.

A cappella music written for, used in or related to film is the focus of the St. Louis Chamber Chorus’ concert next week, with a special focus on two movies in particular: “The Sound of Music” and “Lorenzo’s Oil.” There’s also the live-performance premiere of a new piece that put the SLCC itself into a major international film project.
