It might still happen in many circles but times are changing rapidly, leading wine industry women report.
The male club attitude surrounding wine is an out-moded mindset, says Brown Brothers brand manager Katherine Brown.
"There's been a shift in women being interested in wine,'' Katherine Brown says.
"We all know from studies that women are the prime buyers of wine in retailers.
