Let's face it, there's probably nowhere in the world more relaxing to sit down for a game of chess, and for those lovers of the world's greatest game is the 20th Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival set to launch at the end of June. Lasting until July 8th and attracting some of the brightest chess players the world over, it's an opportunity to get your game on unlike any other.

The opening gambit of the 20th Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival takes place on June 30, continuing until the final checkmate on July 8.

Organised by the Abu Dhabi Chess and Culture Club, the event is held under the patronage of Shaikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.
