India’s famous Maharajas’ Express is fast drawing attention of the U.S. citizens as its operator, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), is hosting multiple events in Los Angeles (November 26) and San Francisco (November 30) to promote Maharajas’ Express. This Indian luxury train has won several prestigious accolades for its amenities and services such as Best Luxury Train' award by CNBC Travel in 2010 and Readers Choice Award for Conde Nast Traveler in 2011.
With its recent repackaging, Maharajas’ Express has come up with five brand new itineraries including 3 pan India tours and 2 Golden Triangle journeys. Among the longer journeys, Heritage of India is quite popular as it unfolds the royal and cultural heritage before its travelers and Gems of India is leading the way for the golden triangle trip.

The train is a virtual luxury hotel fitted with state of the art amenities such as cabin controlled air conditioning, online water filtration system, hydraulic pneumatic suspension, LCD TV, WI-FI internet, electronic safe, CCTV cameras and not to forget a presidential suite spanning over entire carriage and has a passenger capacity of 88 people.
