The Design District, Miami, FL. – May 24^th, 2012 launches the first-ever annual debut of Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week (MMIFW). MMIFW is the brainchild of PASA Event Productions LLC. The event was designed to encompass the rich cultural diversity that has shaped the city of Miami; which by every definition of the word is a metropolis and a cultural melting pot. With many of the city’s inhabitants and visitors hailing from across the globe, the city sidewalks have morphed into catwalks.  The Spring 2012 edition of Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week will take place in the trendy LMNT Art Space and offer a VIP lounge for VIP ticket holders. Several confirmed VIP attendees for the May 2012 event include local celebrities and government officials.

With contemporary luxury in mind, the founders of Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week wanted to present a centralized opportunity for known designers to expand their market, as well as give up-and-coming designers an opportunity to launch their brand. For their first year Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week will feature designer from across the globe; including the United States, England (London), Saudi Arabia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Brazil. The event kicks off with Day Wear, followed by Evening Wear and High Fashion, then finishing up with Swimwear. The debuting 2012 lineup has garnered extensive media attention and anticipates extensive international coverage. 

In addition to an impressive lineup MMIFW will also present live entertainment consisting of skilled performers, special effects, and specialty acts, each day prior to the fashion shows. And while all attendees can sip drinks and nosh on sliders during the show, the VIP lounge offers wait staff service and plush lounge style seating for added comfort and luxury. With daily live performances, an international lineup, and VIP attendees, Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week promises to be an event wher you want to see and be seen!
