It was a whisper, a rumor and now confirmed: Pippa Middleton will be at New York Fashion Week. The party duchess has been seen out about town dining with and ex-flame of Uma Thurman and Chelsea Handler Andre Balazs at his Shelter Island spot Sunset Beach over the weekend, US Weekly reported
But if you remember our last report on the other Middleton, she is releasing her new event planning/entertaining and hosting book this year. So looks like NYFW is a great way to get some promotion/buzz to get her name out for positive press leading up to her book release. And she has a little help with PR entourage hook-up, Balazs’s properties (which rep some of the biggest local designers: Proenza Schouler, Narciso Rodriguez, The Row) is reportedly helping Pippa out: “the stylish set are keeping Middleton’s name on any show or party guest lists,” accordin to the Daily Beast.
