At some point in our lives every one of us considers the idea of taking a trip around the whole world so that they can gain a true experience of the world we live in. For some of us this becomes a reality but for most of us we will have to cherry pick our destinations over many years. Whilst a trip around the entire world and all of its 196 countries may be too much of a pipe dream, it is more realistic to consider a trip around the world in large hops. Here is a possible route around the world for an intrepid traveller:
Australia and New Zealand
These two countries should be combined in any world trip because they are close to one another but far afield from anywhere else. A stay in one of the many Port Macquarie hotels will offer you the best of Sydney in a short stay. Take in the sights of the CBD and the Blue mountains for a fast-pace snapshot of the country. When in New Zealand a trip to one of Auckland’s many national parks is in order and an NZ jet boat ride around the coast is certainly a great way to take in the sights at a fast rate.
Hong Kong and China
Flying from Australia or New Zealand to Hong Kong and China is a logical hop which will allow you to experience two very unique Asian cultures. Hong Kong is a remarkable and compact location with a huge array of modern and ancient experiences to be had. This country literally moved a mountain to build their airport and it is well worth a visit to this industrious nation. China offers a similarly diverse array of the old and the new. Visiting Shanghai and Beijing will offer you the two sides of China which are well known and loved. The Forbidden City will blow your mind in much the same way as the 368m Pearl TV Tower at the top of Shanghai.
Russia
Russia is a wonderfully unique country. Visiting Moscow will allow you to experience a rich history under the strict watch of the current regime. Visit Lenin the father of communism in his Mausoleum and take in the view of the most amazing Cathedral in the world. Situated alongside the Kremlin the iconic cathedral of Russia is a wonder to behold. Enter within to experience the most magnificent golden artwork you will ever find.
Europe
Visiting Europe is a strange experience for someone from larger nations. The region is made up of numerous countries which are very easy to travel between and yet very different from one another. It is worth visiting Poland to experience the history of World War II, Norway to experience the luxury of Scandinavia and England to experience the wonders of multicultural London. A visit to Europe needs to be well planned but you can tie numerous Capital cities together in a very short time if you wish.
America
Visiting New York is an absolute must for anyone who has the opportunity. This giant city demonstrates why America is such a strong Global Power and offers an exciting experience for all. Whether you are after exciting nights or endless shopping in vast malls, there is so much to do in New York that you will find yourself exhausted from excitement.
Africa is too huge a place with too many countries to visit even a small percentage, so choosing your location carefully is tantamount to your experience. Rwanda and Kenya are perhaps two of the best countries to visit to experience rich cultural heritage and a remarkable history. Take the opportunity to embark on Safaris and embrace a wonderful culture.
