While plus-sized models have been getting the short end of the stick since—well, basically forever—we were happy to hear that the lineup for this year’s Pirelli Calendar will include their first plus-sized model ever. The calendar, which has been distributed every year since 1964, offers some of the most exclusive editorial shots to date, with past models and photographers including the likes of Patrick Demarchelier, Naomi Campbell, Helmut Newton, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford. This year’s tweleve models will include Adriana Lima, Natalia Vodianova, Raquel Zimmermann, Isabeli Fontana, Sasha Luss, Anna Ewers, Carolyn Murphy, Cameron Russell, Gigi Hadid, Karen Elson, Joan Smalls and Candice Huffine.

Huffine will be the calendar’s first plus-sized model in its 51 years. "My presence on this set—the most glamorous in the world—is a sign that things are really changing," she told Vogue UK. Shot in New York by Steven Meisel and styled by Carine Roitfeld, Huffie and her co-stars were photographed in full fetish gear including leather, bustiers and lots of latex. (It’s basically a Fifty Shades of Grey fan’s wet dream.) “I’m wearing all latex in one shot, which is very cool,” Hadid told WWD. “I’ve never worn latex before but everyone’s, like, telling me that it would suck because you get all sweaty and you can’t breathe. But I really like it and now I want latex leggings.”
