If you were lucky enough to snag the $35,000 tickets to go see last night’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in person, then you were treated to an amazing sight. From the debut of Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner on the pink runway to the celebrity-filled after parties, the label's 20th anniversary show was touted as one of the best in recent years. While the show won’t air until December 8, images from the runway display the beauty and intricacy of some of the most elaborate lingerie in the world, including the formal reveal of the new $2 million Firework Fantasy Bra.
Last night 47 Victoria Secret models stormed the runway in 75 different looks, categorized into multiple themes like Ice Angels, Fireworks, Exotic Butterflies and Portrait of an Angel. A number of the evening’s designs were co-created by Swarovski, who embellished some of the more elaborate pieces including a Fireworks corset adorned in 90,000 crystal beads, or a set of Angel wings covered in over 20,000 golden and iridescent crystals and 130 feet of LED lights. But the pièce de résistance of the night was the Fantasy Bra, worn by Lily Aldridge, which was made with over 6,500 gems and 375 carats of diamonds.
Selena Gomez, The Weekend and Ellie Goulding performed for the show’s 2,000 attendees that included stars like Caitlyn and Kris Jenner, who were there to support their daughter Kendall, Tyson Beckford, Adrian Grenier, and Caroline Vreeland. At the after party, musicians, models and stars mingled, and the dramatic looks continued with Angels wearing some of the sexiest dresses of the evening. Some of our favorites included Martha Hunt in Mugler, Adriana Lima in Alexandre Vauthier and Josephine Skriver in Gabriela Cadena.
