The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show won’t even air until December, but it looks like the brand just released a sneak peak of this year’s Fantasy Bra. The lingerie label’s latest creation is a sparkling $2 million masterpiece filled with precious stones and gems in a stunning three-dimensional pattern. In the revealing video, Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge gleefully bounces around, shimmying and shaking to the beat of the music while wearing the glittering fantasy set.
Aldridge took to Instagram this morning to share her excitement about the Fantasy Bra saying, “I can't believe it's finally been announced!!!! Thank you so much @VictoriasSecret @Ed_Razek & Monica Mitro for this amazing honor!!!! I love you all so much.” And she’ll be in good company—supermodels like Claudia Schiffer, Adriana Lima, Tyra Banks and Gisele Bündchen have all previously walked in the Fantasy Bra.
The set, appropriately named Fireworks Fantasy, took over 685 hours to make and comes studded in more than 6,500 precious gems. Designed by the international jeweler Mouawad, the piece includes more than 14 different kinds of stones including garnets, topazes, sapphires and 375 carats of diamonds all set in 18-karat gold. In total the bra clocks in at a whopping 1,264 carats of gems. Even the matching panties boast 126 diamonds and a mix of 400 other precious stones.
