Photo Courtesy of PradaIt was an epic evening of gorgeous gowns, top-notch talent and glamorous photo opportunities at every turn as the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual ball in New York City. Endearingly referred to as 'Oscar night' in the fashion community, the Costume Institute Gala is indeed a spectacle of style as Hollywood stars and notable fashion insiders gather to pay homage to incredible artistic talent and creative expression.
This year, VOGUE's Anna Wintour, designer Miuccia Prada, and actress Carey Mulligan hosted the stylish soiree, which toasted the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibition at the museum. Needless to say, there was no shortage of flamboyant fashion moments by Prada to appreciate. Mulligan shined in a glittering Prada dress. The silhouette gave off a demure retro vibe, while the fabrication was undoubtedly futuristic.
