Already a celebrity favorite for Red Carpet events, being worn by some of today’s hottest starlets including Marion Cotillard, Katy Perry and Emily Blunt, the luxury designer Basil Soda’s Spring/Summer RTW collection stunningly showcases his inherent talent. The silhouettes are slender and ultra-feminine as the collection perfectly blends bold with demure and playfulness with poise.
Founded in 2000, it is apparent that designer, Basil Soda, (who had previously worked with fellow Lebanese fashion designer, Ellie Saab) has a clear and strong appreciation for the beauty of the feminine form. His current collection showcases shades of mischievous silver, sky blue, daring black, rustic Indian red, stunning gold and crisp and pure white gowns.
With sculpted silhouettes that give way to flouncy and voluminous bottoms, pieces demonstrate a combination of fluidity and structure and with that, Basil Soda is able to preserve a look of class and elegance throughout the entire collection. Geometry is beautifully displayed in every look incorporating the use of soft, supple materials that reveal the body with grace.
The pieces in the Spring/Summer collection contain a selection of gorgeous cuts, fabrics, textures and prints. Atop, details such as edgy cut-outs, sexy transparencies, a mix of lengths, and intricate embroideries are displayed giving added personality to the collection. Dominating the collection is an assortment of shaped lines, fitted gowns and provocative slits and mini-skirts that exude femininity without losing their sex appeal.

Even if your star is not yet bright enough to attend Red Carpet bashes, Basil Soda’s gowns are perfect for any sophisticated soiree that you choose to attend this season.
