Unveiling another edition of their Tourbillon Regulator series, Leroy has just released the Automatic Tourbillon Regulator in 18-karat pink gold. The latest skeletal timepiece offers a full view of the watch’s tourbillon movement as well as peeks at the rest of the mechanics through an entirely openwork watch face. Only seven pieces will be made available for this limited edition series.

At the 12 o’clock hour, a hand-skeletonized L512 caliber flying tourbillon, certified by Besançon Observatory, flies under the sapphire crystal, offering an unobstructed view to the wearer on both the front and back of the face. Each piece of the movement, from the 22-karat gold oscillating weight to the blue steel hands have been carved and decorated entirely by hand.

On the watch face, at the six o’clock hour, the traditional 12-hour dial has been turned into a sub-dial to allow for full visibility of the tourbillon at all times. At its center, an early 20th century-style rosette gives off almost an Art Deco aesthetic as one of the only decorated pieces on the watch. In the center, the seconds hand moves steadily around the outer watch face sliding in front of the tourbillon for only moments before allowing it come back into full view.
