With the US Open next week, we all have tennis on the mind, which makes the first-ever Taste of Tennis Week in New York City a must-attend event. Taking place August 20-23, the week-long pre-US Open event will include the Taste of Tennis Gala (this year will be it's 15th) and tons of "tennis-meets-food" events—like the Celebrity Chef Tennis Challenge on August 20 and Party with The Pros on August 23.
“The Taste of Tennis concept has proven to be so popular, and we are pleased to offer these exciting new events that provide foodies and tennis fans with unprecedented access to their favorite chefs and pro tennis personalities,” explains Penny Lerner, CEO of AYS (the event's creators and producers).
This year's Taste of Tennis Gala will feature dishes prepared by some of the world's top chefs, handcrafted cocktails, and a bunch of celebrity tennis players. If you've ever wanted to drink Champagne with Serena Williams, this is the place to do it! Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto will also be in attendance, as well as Tamron Hall (the host of Today Show and MSNBC’s NewsNation).
