New York Dining: Le Cirque is a true family-owned and operated restaurant. Opened in 1974 by Sirio Maccioni, the trattoria is still operated today by his three sons, and is located in the Bloomberg Building. Inside, eaters gaze upward at the abstract "big top" light shade just as much as they look down at their food.

The cuisine here is classic Italian, and the dishes have been developed to perfection over several generations. For a more casual atmosphere, there is a café option, or go private in one of the four unique, secluded dining rooms.
