Luxe Camping in BubbleTree

Wake up to stunning views of nature in the luxe new CristalBubble, prefabricated see-through tents from BubbleTree.

While they don't allow for much privacy, the futuristic looking tents come with plenty of luxurious amenities and pretty big price tags to match. Choose from tents with everything from portable sofas, beds and even hardwood floors. Prices for the life-sized globes range from $9,000 to $17,000, depending on the model and amenities you choose; or they can be rented for a slightly lesser price. But be prepared to get cozy, as the tents are meant for only two adults, although a small children's room add-on can be made available.

French designer Pierre Stephane Dumas tells The Daily Mail that his "BubbleTree" creations are "unusual huts for unusual nights." He explained, "Having a night under the stars or seeing the sun rise and set is not something that many people experience anymore. A normal tent or camper van means people miss out on these things."

"So I designed this eccentric shelter with the aim of offering an unusual experience under the stars while keeping all the comfort of a bedroom suite. The ceiling of the bubble has the Milky Way, guests will be able to enjoy this as well as the extraordinary light variation of the sunset and sunrise."

Like their more traditional counterparts, BubbleTrees heat up quick, so they should be placed in a shady area. Not for the shy camper, BubbleTrees use an air blower (which is provided) to fill up the tent, as well as to circulate air and provide enough air to maintain the signature BubbleTree shape.

Although they are currently available only in Europe, it may not be long before the BubbleTree shows up in America's great backyard.
