Announced last week, OpenTable released their list of the best 100 eateries in America and five of the top 10 hail from the west coast (three from California). Based on an analysis of more than 5 million reviews, the rankings were from verified diners across over 20,000 restaurants.

Once the Metropolitan Life Insurance building (erected in 1909), it is now a 336-room luxury hotel overlooking the Bay Bridge. The white columned building underwent a four-year renovation in 1991 and another in March of this year.
