Djokovic Strikes Down Cheese Allegations during Preps for Australian Open

Posted: Jan. 3rd, 2013  |  By Michael Pearse

World class tennis player and strong contender for the Australian Open Novak Djokovic spends most of his time in preparation for the upcoming tournament in Monte-Carlo, but in a rather bizarre twist of news the athlete took time out of his busy training schedule to squash rumors about his involvement in the donkey cheese market. Some things are too mysterious for words.

He has not, despite global suggestions to the contrary over the past fortnight, cornered the donkey cheese market. Nor has he even tasted the product.

"I see there are many people asking about donkey cheese. To be quite frank, it surprised me also," he said.

"I heard about that story a couple of weeks ago when I was on holidays and my father was surprised, I was surprised, because it is not the truth that we bought all of the supply of all the donkey cheese all over the world but it is definitely very interesting. I haven't tried the donkey cheese . . . and it is the first time I have heard about it."
