Shutterstock Denver now has its very first exclusive marijuana club that has had a premature celebration with the legalization of marijuana in the state. Although private consumption is fine, public consumption is still quite a legal grey area so we can only hope the club wasn't a bad investment.
Although it’s not yet exactly legal to do so just yet, a group of Coloradans kicked off the state’s first adults only marijuana club on New Year’s Eve, just in time for the year’s biggest party.
Club 64, operating in Denver, was named after Amendment 64, which legalized marijuana possession and cultivation in the state.
Despite the legalization measure, clubs and retail sales are still under discussion by lawmakers who’ve yet to firm up the rules on how to fully implement marijuana legalization. Smoking in public is specifically forbidden by the new law. Read More on rawstory.com
