Besides the gorgeous fireworks display set to the backdrop of the Gulf of Mexico, Houston is lining up the festivities to give a proper sound off to our glorious holiday.
Annual Fourth of July Parade
Kemah Boardwark is hosting it’s annual Fourth of July parade and is inviting anyone to bring their decorated cars, trucks, flatbeds and golf carts to participate. Registration entry forms are due by 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, and can be picked up at the Kemah Visitor Center, Kemah City Hall or online at www.kemahtourism.com.
The Children’s Bicycle parade line up will begin at 8:45 a.m. at the Bradford Avenue and 6th Street city parking lot, with the parade beginning promptly at 9 a.m., the main parade line up will begin at 9 a.m. at the same parking lot and the parade will begin at 9:30 a.m.
