The Viceroy Riviera Maya, one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive and romantic luxury resorts, is set to become even more luxurious with the debut of five newly built Signature Villas designed to appeal to celebrity and VIP clientele (for whom privacy and perfection are a must). With just 41 villas on an unspoiled six-acre sanctuary fronting a picture-perfect stretch of Mexico’s Playa del Carmen, the elegant oasis is already renowned among elite travelers. The new 1,400-square-foot thatched roof Signature Villas feature spacious private patios with heated plunge pools, baths with deep soaking tubs indoor and outdoor rain showers, king-size beds with Egyptian cotton bedding, and separate dressing area with his and hers closets. The beautifully decorated new villas replace the property’s five original luxury villas as to not increase the footprint of the eco-friendly resort. “We created the new villa category in response to growing guest requests for even greater luxury with more special touches and amenities,” notes General Manager Pedro Lara. “The newly built Signature Villas will offer an exceptionally comfortable and luxurious lifestyle.” The luxe new accommodations will be available to book as of October 15 with rates varying by season.
