Grey Goose Vodka Releases Royal Wedding Cocktails

Didn't get an invitation to the Royal Wedding? Not to worry - you can still raise a glass to Prince William and Kate Middleton courtesy of Grey Goose, the super-premium vodka blended and bottled in the celebrated Cognac region of Western France.

Whether you're hosting your own Royal Wedding viewing party or just want to toast the future King and Queen of England on the historic occasion, the luxe spirit's mixologists have a suitable tipple.

The first cocktail (above left) references Kate's approaching ennoblement - she'll become a Duchess on her wedding day - while the second (right) pays homage to what the aristocratic assemblage, including royalty and heads of state, will be wearing at Westminster Abbey on April 29:

The Blushing Dutchess

  • 2 parts GREY GOOSE® Vodka
  • 3 wedges peeled and seeded grapefruit
  • Turbinado sugar for rimming the glass
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 part triple sec

Rub the grapefruit around the outside edge of the glass and then roll in the Turbinado sugar. Place the sugar and grapefruit in the bottom of a shaker, muddle thoroughly. Add GREY GOOSE® Vodka, triple sec and ice. Shake well. Pour drink including ice and grapefruit into rimmed rocks glass.

    White Tie and Tiara

  • 1 ½ parts GREY GOOSE Le Citron flavored vodka
  • 1 part lychee juice
  • 1 part white grapefruit juice
  • ½ part fresh lime juice
  • ¼ part jasmine syrup

In a cocktail shaker, combine all of ingredients with plenty of cubed ice. Shake vigorously until shaker beads with sweat. Finish with a squeeze of grapefruit rind to release essential oils. Spray the inside of a martini glass with rose water and serve with a white flower.
