The Philadelphia International Children's Festival at Philadelphia's Annenberg Center is America's oldest children's festival. It brings an international roster of artists to the City of Brotherly Love. At the weekends, an international Food Court provides dishes from around the world.
There are regular ticketed performances of theatre, circus and music, and the activities continue outdoors on the Annenberg Plaza Stage with events that are free with a show ticket. This section of the festival is split into two themes, Stageworks and Playworks. Stageworks features a variety of jugglers, dancers, storytellers and musicians who entertain the audience with shows throughout the festival, while Playworks celebrates more hands-on craft activities. |
