Travel to the illustrious Russian capital of Moscow will be made more inviting November 12th when Moscow FM, an all-English radio station, launches. Delivering news updates from the English based Russian news outlet, Russia Today, together with guides to events in the capitol and a healthy dose of music, the station is expected to be a great success.
An English-language radio station begins broadcasting in Moscow on 105,2 FM frequency. The station positions itself as a guide to events in the Russian capital for foreigners and those who study the English language, Novaya Politika magazine wrote. Broadcasts begins on November 12th, midday.
Music will be the main content of Moscow FM, about 20-30 percent will be devoted to news and reports. In addition to city news, the radio station also plans to highlight international news, Prime news agency reports.
