ARTISANS HARBOR GALLERY

You will experience the finest and largest selection of Connecticut artworks at Artisans Harbor. The gallery features paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor depict beautiful sea & landscapes, river and pasture scenes, florals’, wildlife, and portraits. We are also displaying the works of jewelers who create exquisite one of a kind handcrafted necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, which are crafted from sterling silver, pearls, semi-precious stones, and glass beads A large collection of landscapes, fish and wildlife in a unique and textural technique of woodburning scrimshaws. The pottery works include one of a kind platters, plates, bowls, & mugs. Our artworks collection also includes high quality framed photography, handcrafted tables, chairs and stools, beautiful hand painted crystal and silk scarves. We are truly a gallery and a destination that will appeal to everyone!

We offer an affordable venue for artists in a variety of mediums to showcase and sell their artwork. Painters, photographers, potters, sculptors, woodworkers, textile artists, stained glass workers, jewelers and other creative artists are invited to join our gallery. Our excellent location on Main Street is a very busy walking and shopping area. We are located within a few steps of the new Katherine Hepburn Theater, and many excellent restaurants and shops. The gallery provides the artists with promotion and marketing of their art through a variety of media- advertisements and articles in local and regional newspapers, INK magazine, Ct. magazine, art magazines, active chamber membership, new business announcements, and brochures at area businesses. We host gallery evenings, artist of the month showcases, and window displays.

The public and artists are invited to our monthly Open House & Art Demonstration evenings. These evening events offer the opportunity to meet the artists, see the artists demonstrate their art, view the beautiful artworks, and enjoy some refreshments and fine music. ARTISANS HARBOR STUDIOS

Classes are ongoing in Oil and Watercolor painting, & drawing. Instructors hold Bachelor of Fine art degrees and have instructed many years a relaxed style of painting, drawing and pottery for all level. Classes forming now ! Treat yourself or someone you care about to a class - each class is 6 weeks in duration.
