Carmelo Anthony's Style Coach

For someone so incredibly busy doing well in a professional sport, it doesn't come to much of a surprise that Carmelo Anthony gets his killer look from a stylist. He and Khalilha Williams-Webb have been working on his style together since 2008, and he's one of the few NBA players that I don't (often) have something bad to say about fashion wise.

 

When Carmelo Anthony joined the Knicks in 2011, he joined the ranks of New York’s most debonair athletes, with a rotating collection of pocket squares, tailored suits, chunky glasses and skinny ties.

But his look has a secret ingredient, one that has become nearly as crucial a part of his public image as his scoring prowess. That secret ingredient is Khalilah Williams-Webb.

She is the owner of a cozy boutique in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, and she can talk about Michael Kors as easily as about Michael Jordan. Williams-Webb has been designing Anthony’s look since 2008, when he played for the Denver Nuggets. Read More
