As one of the best-known names in luxury event planning, celebrity planner Breeze Taylor has dealt with elite clientele for the past 15 years in New York, Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Some of her clients include CEOs and presidents of Fortune 500 companies, top celebrities, athletes, including Robert Smith, NFL athlete for Minnesota Vikings and Jeff Overton, PGA top-rated golfer as well as many other household names.
One reason Breeze has such a fan base: her relentless effort in the pursuit of each client’s goal, standard of beauty and meticulous attention to detail and budgets. She is changing her business model in 2015, and is only taking on 10 events per year that showcase her expertise. We sat down with Breeze, based out of Boca Raton, to find out more about her:
Background: I was born in Ft. Lauderdale Florida although I grew up in Indiana in a very small town. I was the middle child and the only girl. My best memories as a kid were the holidays and the house being filled with family, great food and a lot of time enjoying the simple things in life. I studied Social Psychology and Business. My first job was waiting tables and I have always worked in the hospitality/service industry. I started my business at age 25 and have a passion for details and service. My favorite thing to do is to relax and bake. I have always wanted to open a small bakery.
Travel style? I'm a fan of the small luxury hotels of the world. I like to travel chic but without all the pompous. I'm never a fan of big hotels.
Favorite destination? Santorini, Greece
Three travel things you can’t live without? Sensitive Sunblock, Image skincare Vital C intense moisturizer, Lululemon athletic clothing
What does travel mean to you? A chance to recharge, try new cuisine, sleep-in, drink good wine and meet new people.
One of your guilty pleasures? My mother-in-law's homemade chocolate fudge brownies. They are the best thing I have ever put in my mouth but so sinful!
What does luxury mean to you? Luxury is synonymous with sumptuous living to me. It is appreciating the finer things with quality and service being the shining stars.
Your favorite luxury item? That is always changing but at the moment by Gucci python handbag in wine. I love the color and texture of the bag.
Your favorite travel story? My life is always so busy and hectic as working mom. I really love Cheeca Lodge in the keys. For me, to just sit and relax while soaking in the beautiful atmosphere is always on my "favorite things" list. I just love the vibe of the keys.
Best event produced? Honestly, I have so many that are truly memorable. At all of my favorites weddings, we had an Italian seven-course meal with wine pairings. The meal and the wines were so incredible. The meal was memorable.
