GMC Delivers the Perfect New Ride with the Yukon Denali Ultimate

GMC

The 2025 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate has new exterior designs, lots of room, plenty of towing power, a revamped cabin, lots of tech, and a new Night Vision option.

Exterior

The Denali Ultimate sports a bold front grille with a Vader Chrome design flanked by sleek, C-shaped animated LED headlights. Twenty four inch laser-etched machined alloys fill the wheel wells with dark-chrome accents.

Interior

The interior cabin is all luxury with Woodland Mahogany full-grain leather and open-pore wood outlined with intricate topographical etching, contrast stitching, and rich chrome detailing. It’s three-row seating can accommodate seven or eight people, depending on the configuration.

Both front seats are 16-way adjustable, heated, cooled, and include massage features and second-row captain’s chairs with the same features are available as part of the Executive Seating package.

Tech

Dominating the dashboard is a 16.8-inch vertical touchscreen powered by Google for most controls, complemented by climate controls with hard buttons and a central volume knob for intuitive use. The system runs wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and built-in Google Maps.

Rear-seat climate control is handled via an 8-inch touchscreen mounted on the rear console, and twin 12.6-inch entertainment screens live in the headrests for back-seat passengers.

The 22-speaker Bose audio system is great for long driving trips as is the Super Cruise, GM’s hands free driving assist system which includes automatic lane changes and trailer-enhanced functionality. It maps over 750,000 miles of highways for driver assistance, and also uses eye-tracking to ensure drivers are awake and aware.

The Denali Ultimate debuts GMC’s Night Vision system where a thermal camera in the dash highlights pedestrians and animals ahead of the headlights.

Drivers can choose from a 6.2-liter V8 pushing 420 hp/460 lb-ft or a 3.0-liter Duramax six diesel with 305 hp/495 lb-ft. Both have a 10-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive and an air suspension setup.

The 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate merges first-class luxury with the innovative tech of Super Cruise and Night Vision while also providing ample towing prowess and the option for a ton of space by flattening the second and third seat rows.

The Yukon Denali Ultimate starts near $101,800, and can run over $106,000.
