International and Reputable Platform, Vancouver Fashion Week Announces its Fall/Winter 2015 Fashion Designer Lineup

In its 25th season, the fashion industry’s leading multi-cultural event, Vancouver Fashion Week gets ready to present an exceptional array of fashion talent beginning on March 16, 2015.

Beginning on March 16, 2015, the leading international fashion event, Vancouver Fashion Week (“VFW”) will host its semi-annual 6-day celebration of fashion, design, creativity, and multiculturalism. It will begin with an opening gala on March 16, followed by fashion shows beginning on March 17. 

The fall/winter 2015 season will host more than 50 fashion designers from around the globe. These designers will showcase their unique collections to more than 25,000 attendees including: notable fashion insiders, tastemakers, industry leaders, media professionals, buyers, celebrities, and socialites. 

This fall/winter 2015 season’s designers include:

Peruvian designer Noe Bernacelli: Noe has redefined the term haute couture in his country.  His designs not only reflect versatility, but also his signature trademarks of femininity and elegance.  From intricately constructed dresses to simple yet modern silhouettes, Noe will be showing the world his ready-to-wear collection.  His collections have been featured in Vogue among many other media outlets.

South Korean designer Hong Kiyoung; Known as an emerging street wear luxury label for both men and women, Hong has taken the international fashion industry by storm.  Bright colors combined with clean silhouettes, Hong has captured the attention of some of today’s most notable fashion editors and has been profiled on Vogue UK among many other media outlets.

Chinese designer: ILOVECHOC: Founded by Wei Chao and based in China, the fun-loving and interesting ILOVECHOC brand offers street fashion to both men and women. Known to be whimsical and unique, his collection represents love and youth, while combining edgy style with colorful patterns.

Korean designer: JUKOJulie: Fur garment and jewelry company, JUKOJulie is one of the hottest outwear and accessory brands available today. Known for her ultra-feminine fur coats and bold statement fashion jewelry, JUKOJulie has attracted the attention from some of today’s most high-profile and reputable retailers and magazine editors worldwide. 

Spanish Jewelry designer: Paloma Sanchez: Based out of Beijing GIA certified-gemologist, Paloma designs one-of-a-kind jewelry. Bold geometric shapes combined with vibrant colored stones are what make Paloma’s accessories stand out from the others in the marketplace. She was recognized as one of the 30 best jewelry designers in the world today and featured in the “Unique Book, The Best Jewelry Designers” launched at the World Watch and Jewelry Show, Baseworld.

 US Young Designer (15 years old): Kate Miles: Raised in Oregon, Kate Miles style is timeless with a modern edge.  As the winner of Portland Fashion Week’s Emerging Designer Competition, she launched her own handmade collection, Kate’s Couture.  Her designs are youthful yet feminine, girly, and fun.

Vancouver Designer: Connally McDougall: Trained at Central Saint Martins in London, each one of Connally McDougall’s collections is produced by hand using traditional atelier techniques, luxury fabrics, and the utmost attention to quality and detail. Connally has been profiled in Vogue UK among many other top tier media outlets.

Vancouver Designer: Grandi’s Atelier: Known for her feminine and timeless, yet flirty dressmaking and clothing, Grandy draws design inspiration from sentiments of bygone eras.  She combines classic silhouettes with modern textures and simple colors. Her designs have been featured in Glamour UK and Vogue UK.  

 

Other designers from the UK, USA, Italy, Chile, France, Belgium, among others will be showing their collections at VFW.
