It’s all luxury after all
When you are looking to have the time of your life away from your home, and money is no object, you may think that getting a luxury suite at a hotel is pretty much the same as getting a luxury home rental. Well, while the word luxury appears in both options, they could not be more different. Luxury hotel and luxury vacation rentals in Los Angeles, and other popular holiday destinations, will give you completely different experiences; and if I may be so bold, the homes trump the hotels hands down.
Here’s why…
In most exclusive holiday destinations, homes or villas are established residential options. They have been there for years and the people that rent these properties have the advantage of being treated like residents. This way, you will experience elements of the destination that you would have definitely missed out on if you were in a hotel. Since these trips are about making memories, don’t sell yourself short.
If your everyday life is very public, you will certainly appreciate the privacy that these luxury vacation rentals provide. It is like being in your own home with a lot of privacy and exclusive use of the amenities. While in a hotel, your neighbor is on the other side of the wall and you share the pool, hot tubs, decks, beachfronts and all that, in a rental home, these are all yours and your neighbor is quite some distance away. Plus you have your own parking spot. Isn’t that just lovely?
Most rental homes are found some distance away from the main street so it is very peaceful and quiet out there. If you live in a big city with constant noise, this will sound like heaven and you can actually take some time to gather your thoughts and ‘find your center’. A lot of people have found this more therapeutic than going to therapy.
Rental homes are built to impress. They have interesting, cutting edge designs that are very unique and quite fun to live in. It doesn’t hurt that they look great in pictures too. But more than the unique design, these homes are much more spacious than the largest hotel suite you could find and they are fitted with every possible amenity you could find in a hotel and then some. You could bring your entire family and friends over and still have enough room not to feel crowded.
If you are planning to stay for a long while, rental homes are certainly a more affordable option. This is especially facilitated by having a kitchen so you won’t have to worry about the restaurant expenses. You could even have a chef come over a few times and still it would be cheaper.
For all you pet-lovers, luxury homes have a much higher acceptance for pets than most hotels. So you are more likely to find a rental home that accepts pets than a pet-friendly hotel. Plus, depending on your pet, they may prefer the space offered by the home rentals, to the minimal space in hotel suites.
