San Pedro-born reggae band Spliff Vision, a tight-knit family collective known for their raw, heartfelt sound, is set to release their newest single, “Give Thanks,” at midnight EST on November 14, 2025. Produced by Big G Productions and released through Starry Music. The song stands as a powerful reflection on gratitude, resilience, and unity. With Thanksgiving around the corner, “Give Thanks” arrives at the perfect time and is a heartfelt reminder to slow down, appreciate loved ones, and find light even in life’s hardest moments.

Formed and raised in “The Lows” of San Pedro, the brothers and cousins of Spliff Vision have turned struggle into substance, creating what they call “Reality Roots”- music steeped in lived experiences, family, and community. Frontman Konker Spliff survived a stray bullet in a drive-by shooting at age 21, an event that forever shifted his outlook and deepened the band’s commitment to purpose-driven art.

“I remember being in my grandmother’s garage, just strumming my guitar and humming the melody that would later become Give Thanks,” recalls Konker Spliff. “I played it for my brothers, and we came together on the music without much struggle. Our family is super close and we’re always singing songs and making music together. We started playing Give Thanks at our live shows in 2015, and it instantly became a fan favorite, as well as a favorite of our family. Whenever there’s something to be thankful for, we’re always singing it.”

Now, a decade after its first live debut, “Give Thanks” finds new life with an official recording and music video releasing 11/14/2025 on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/SpliffVision310 Filmed in the Californian mountains, the music video offers an intimate glimpse of the Spliff family enjoying each other’s company, celebrating family and appreciating nature. The song and music video are a celebration of how family, music, love, gratitude, and togetherness help us get through life’s challenges.

“Just recently we had the chance to film a music video for Give Thanks,” says Konker. “We brought the family up to a cabin in the mountains and spent the day together, walking in the woods and jamming by the fireside. Right now, our mother, Mama Spliff, is fighting stage 4 cancer, and having her there with us and in the video is what the song is all about. We’re a family that has a lot of struggles, but we really are thankful for all the blessings we receive, especially when we can celebrate them together. “Give Thanks” is a celebration of life, love, and family.”

With a loyal local following and an unmistakable sound, Spliff Vision continues to bring high energy, authenticity, and heart to the stage everytime…proving that music born out of struggle can uplift communities.
